QuantHawk ("we", "our", or "us") operates quanthawk.xyz and the QuantHawk iOS application. This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect, why we collect it, and how we protect it. We are committed to handling your information with transparency and care.

QuantHawk is a personal AI-powered trading research tool. It does not execute trades automatically. It does not share your financial data with third parties for advertising. It does not sell your data. Full stop.

Account Data

When you register or sign in, we collect:

— Email address (required for authentication via Supabase)

— Hashed password (never stored in plaintext; managed by Supabase Auth)

— A randomly generated user ID

Usage Data

We collect limited operational data to run the service:

— Tickers you add to your watchlist

— Analysis runs you initiate (ticker, date, analyst selection)

— Trade journal entries you create

— App session timestamps

Device & Technical Data

— iOS device push notification token (if you grant permission)

— App version and iOS version (for crash diagnostics only)

What We Do NOT Collect

— Real brokerage account credentials

— Actual trade history from your broker

— Location data

— Contacts or camera

We use your data exclusively to operate QuantHawk:

— **Authentication**: Your email and hashed password are used to verify your identity.

— **Personalization**: Your watchlist, journal, and analysis history are stored to provide continuity across sessions and devices.

— **AI Analysis**: When you run an analysis, your selected ticker and date are sent to our backend to invoke the 7-agent pipeline. No personally identifiable information is included in AI prompts.

— **Notifications**: If you grant notification permission, your device token is used only to deliver analysis-complete and trade-filed alerts. We do not use push tokens for marketing.

— **Service Reliability**: Aggregate, anonymized usage metrics help us monitor system health and improve the product.

We do not use your data to train AI models. We do not share your data with advertisers.

Infrastructure

— User accounts and authentication: Supabase (SOC 2 Type II certified), hosted in US East

— Backend API: Render (us-east region), secured with HTTPS/TLS 1.3

— Frontend: Vercel edge network

Security Measures

— All data in transit is encrypted via HTTPS/TLS

— Passwords are hashed using bcrypt (via Supabase Auth — we never see your plaintext password)

— API endpoints require a valid session token for every request

— The iOS app stores credentials exclusively in the iOS Keychain (AES-256 encrypted, hardware-backed on Face ID devices)

— Internal API tokens are never exposed to the client

Retention

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account (via Settings → Disconnect & Reset), all associated data is removed within 30 days.

QuantHawk integrates with the following third-party services to operate:

We select service providers that maintain industry-standard security practices. We do not authorize any third party to use your data for their own marketing or analytics purposes.

You have the right to:

Access: Request a copy of all data we hold about you. Email us at the address below.

Correction: Update your email or account information via Settings.

Deletion: Delete your account at any time via Settings → Disconnect & Reset. This removes your credentials and watchlist from our systems. Email us if you want confirmation of complete deletion.

Portability: Request an export of your trade journal and analysis history in JSON format.

Opt-out of Notifications: Revoke notification permission at any time in iOS Settings → QuantHawk → Notifications. This does not affect your ability to use the app.

For California residents (CCPA): We do not sell personal information. You have the right to know what data we collect and to request deletion.

For EU/EEA residents (GDPR): Your legal basis for processing is contractual necessity (to provide the service you signed up for). You may exercise your data subject rights by contacting us below.

QuantHawk is a research and analysis tool. It is not a registered investment adviser, broker-dealer, or financial planner.

Nothing in QuantHawk — including AI analysis outputs, signals, conviction scores, or agent reports — constitutes financial advice, investment advice, or a recommendation to buy or sell any security.

All analysis is generated for informational and educational purposes only. Past analysis results do not predict future performance. You are solely responsible for your own investment decisions.

Paper trading mode uses simulated funds only. No real money is at risk within the QuantHawk application itself.

QuantHawk is not directed at children under the age of 17. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 17. The iOS app is rated 17+ on the App Store. If you believe a minor has provided us with personal information, please contact us immediately.

We may update this Privacy Policy as the product evolves. If we make material changes, we will notify signed-in users via an in-app notice at least 7 days before the change takes effect. The "Effective Date" at the top of this page will always reflect the current version.

Continued use of QuantHawk after a policy update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
